SEA’s Honors Their Peers.....  

To show respect for the passing of some of the MOST Influential People in regards to Southern Entertainment and DJ’s as a whole, we will dedicate (6) of our top awards in their memory.  

The “Mix-Tape DJ Of The Year” Award will be presented in honor of JUSTO for his dedication to preserving the Honor & Integrity of The Mixtape DJ.  The “Slept-On DJ Of The Year” Award will be presented in honor of DJ Geedamme as a constant reminder to always remember to acknowledge the DJ on the rise.  

The “Best Screwed/Chopped Mix-Tape” will be named after DJ SCREW for his innovativeness in creating the Southern Mix-Tape Technique.  

The “Independent Artist of the Year (Rap)” Award will be presented in honor of Soulja Slim for his continued grind and hustle as both an independent and major artist.  He truly defined the words “Independent Artist.”

The “Slept On Artist of the Year” Award will be presented in honor Camoflage as a constant reminder to always remember to acknowledge talented artists on the rise.

The “Club DJ Of The Year” will be named after Jam Master Jay for his continued success in highlighting the DJ as a Key ingredient in clubs, shows and the success of an artist and/or group.
